Dune DVD Comparison
This page compares the picture quality of the "Dune: Ultimate Edition" (French) DVD and that of the Dune: Collector's Edition (Australian). The top picture of each pair is from the French DVD.
Frames where saved as bmps with DGMPGDec, and then cropped, resized and saved out as jpgs (80% quality) with Macromedia Fireworks MX.
The Australian images are cropped slightly of the left and right sides, this is how it is on the DVD.
I have tried to grab the same frames as those used in the image comparision on DVDfr.com, but please note that I did not use DVDfr.com images - which appear slightly brighter for some reason.
