	Paracompass A square metal Paracompass made for the drama series Dune. This hand held device has a fold out handle underneath which is held in place with a small bracketed piece of metal, the top has been etched with lines around a central circular dial the central square can be turned with the side winding mechanism. This interesting device is made entirely of metal and quite heavy 15.5cm2 (6”2). It can be seen at the beginning of the second episode of the Dune mini-series when Paul (Alec Newman) and Jessica Atreides (Saskia Reeves) are walking in the desert before they meet the Fremen. 	Rabban Jacket A jacket worn by Glossu Rabban (Laszlo I Kish) in the 2000 TV mini series Dune. This jacket has padding on the right sleeve and extra on the elbow, on the front there are small brass coloured triangles and a large gold lapel, the left arm doesn’t extend below the shoulder pad. Although in the series the jacket appears to be red the actual colour of the jacket is purple with gold piping. 	Metal Covered Book An elaborate book made for the drama series Children of Dune. This book was used for set dressing and similar style of parchments with the exotic writing can be seen when Paul Atriedes (Alec Newman) gets a message to go and see an old friend who is ill and subsequently loses his sight in an explosion and later in the series when Alia (Daniela Amavia) sits at her desk with paperwork around her. The book has a bronze coloured metal cover with a symbol on the front, it has parchment style paper inside with handwritten symbolic writing on 12 of the pages, the rest are blank. 	Glossu Rabban Retractable Knife The knife used by Glossu Rabban (Laszlo I Kish) in Frank Herberts TV mini series Dune. The knife can be seen halfway through Episode two as Rabban has a line of Fremen who he has accused of stealing from him, he brutally murders one of the men as a warning to the rest of the Fremen people, he uses this SFX retractable knife in the scene. Made of thin hollw metal with a sprung loaded tip so the knife appears to penetrate the skin, the handle is made from wooden and bound with leather lace.
